Recently promotion through quota system was breaking news on almost all Indian news channels, lot of us enjoyed discussion on this topic but the question remains untouched and unanswered. When we look at the arguments that ruling parties and their allies are making it looks like we are not willing to push the status of the reserved class people. It clearly indicates that we want to keep them where they are. Consistency on providing reservation first at entrance examinations and now in promotion shows that how bad the policies are designed.
