Giving someone something that he/she doesn't need to deliver things makes him little less productive because the same task can be done without using that tool or help.
Woman and Men are equal in all aspects, sound silly and foolish, with added nonsense flavor some people say without involvement of women in all the fields we cannot succeed, I believe if this is their mindset they cannot succeed with anybodies involvement, I have such a pity for those people who thinks like that. Behind success of a man there is always a woman this is another saying which makes all the women happy because women knows that their contributions are nowhere in the picture. Having said all those things, I am not disparaging their progress. I feel good when someone improves their status. I believe excluding reproduction everything is possible without women. They are efficient and empowered then why do they need reservation. That mind sound little harsh but fact of the matter is that this is a burning questions in everyone‘s mind.
Coming to women reservation, after 63 years of Indian independence every political parties has a evergreen agenda of women empowerment, reservation why do we need all these things. The fact behind all these things is women reservation has become a political tool to attract the votes.
Election 50% reservation (Even 33% was not enough)
I really do not see any requirement for the reservation because these things can not add any value.
In India we follow the patriarchy our society is male dominant. Male used to take care about women. You can observe in the movies, serial, books that a male always used to save the female. Female in India are always living behind the shade of men. But are they really need facilities to come out of this situation, It is a million dollor question. These are the questions women should ask to themselves.
How many women know about their legal rights ? How many women know that in law colleges they have 30% reservation. Who takes a benefit of 498A and protection against domestic violence. Who is willing to work in politics and now for whom these amendments are going to work.
During the current amendment Parliament passed this bill according to this bill women have got 50% seat reserved for them in Panchayti elections. Other than this most of the people think this as a big discrimination between men and women. It is about leading others; it is about leadership we don’t want someone as a leader who is correct as per the reservation guidelines. Election itself is way to elect what we want. Is putting ladies in politics and reserving seats for them is solution to push the women status forward. After this long time after independence government should realize that we have so many big issues to resolve they should stop these non-sense stuffs like women reservation.
Educational Institute 30-35% reservation (Law schools 30% reservation)
What is a point of reserving seats in Medical College and Engineering college for girls what kind of problem they are suffering from which is different from the boys. In India Law college has 30% seats reserved for girls. Remember 30% reservation for girls doesn’t mean 70% seats are reserved for boys, they are open for all. Consider the situation of the boy who is from the trivial area and worked hard to get admission in a good college and then after that because of this reservation problem he ends up with losing his right. Even Institute doesn’t want to compromise with the talent but it is problem with the policies they abide by. Anger of the men should be amplified through the proper channel one should not put hold on it.
Income tax 10% waived
This itself an evident that a person who is earning taxable income and paying tax to Indian government is well enough in all the sense. Even then also 10% tax is waived for women in India. In this aspect how they are different from the male employees. Why male has to suffer by giving additional tax , should tax be based on gender now?
Conclusion: Government has passed the bill of women reservation and now it is completely in the hands of women to make this opportunity utilized. Just because seat for them is reserved does not mean they can operate the group of people efficiently. However reservation based on the financial condition will always be welcome move. everyone will appreciate that.
