Electronic Device Addiction

All of us are surrounded with the electronics devices right? PC, smart phone, iPod, iPad, XBox and lot many, our life is so dependent on them that we can not live without them, day start with checking emails. sending text to girlfriend and listening music. Think about situation if you don't have access to internet connection for sometime whatever the reason may be but Life becomes hell, as this is a human tendency when yo don't have something you always fight for getting it, you fight with others you fight with your mind and motion. So if you don't have internet connection for hours your mind becomes too hungry, activated and excited to check email, to browse internet for fetching some information which is pending from so long, all the task which were low priority turns into high priority task and creates a do and die situation. We used to ignore this fact that we are loosing memory power day by day because we have the devices which can remember details for us.Lets think what kind of work we can do without them that we are doing by using electronics devices. i am just talking about reducing the dependency on electronics devices. We are not in  a position that we can stop using these devices, i totally agree but Lets try to minimize the impact
  • Browning internet on phone: Just because WAP is available doesn't mean we have to do everything using phone that only, mobile screen is too short and the fonts are too small, to add on we have screen brightness which is not at all good for your eyes. i am not talking about the important and urgent work but think about the other activities which are replaced by these activities.
  • Playing game on mobiles: I have seen most of the intellectuals that they are always busy playing games on mobile why don't they go to ground and participate in some of the outdoor activities at least that will help them to take care of their health. Playing cricket on smartphone sounds foolish to me.
  • Divided attention : This is 3rd and most important. It is widely observed in most of the organization, family and groups that when something important discussion is going on few people have tendency of checking and looking at their phone or ipod or devices which they have in their pocket. This creates divided attention and consequences of this is dangerous and waste of productive time is end result of this. Undivided attention is the only way to draw a conclusion from any important discussion. Lets form a habit that we will not check the phones and ipods duirng the meeitng. Let the electronic device notify us if that needs our immediate attention.

Mobile Message Organizer

Got a basic requirement that i think every mobile should have, all the mail clients have this facility and i dont see any big difficulties on this other than the storage problem which is not a problem at all as we got GB of spaces in our memory cards. Well i am talking about the organizing the messages in Inbox , categorization of messages. Suppose i want to store all the messages from one of my friend say A in a folder called Personal, my existing mobile device Nokai E71 doesn't have this feature inbuilt (Ofcourse if you want you can make a folder and move the messages manually but here i am talking about the idea of automating this procedure). Only thing we need to do is , we have to store the rules in separate location , rules will be defined by the user and then device will follow these rules. There are no or very less software available which satisfy this requirement for mobile device.this is so simple but basic requirement as per the end user. I am going to make this one ...

Interview : Shiv Khera

Winning as a way of life Shiv Khera, motivational expert, speaker, consultant and author of three best-selling books, does not necessarily speak about new things. His subject is human life – the individual vis-à-vis society, and how the two can win. But it is the use of the right word at the right time in the right context in simple, evocative terms that sets him apart. Rajeev Nair met him in Dubai Charged – that is one word to describe the infectious persona of Shiv Khera, the motivational expert, hot in demand in the US professional circles to turn around company fortunes and develop the man power base. The Indian has been a US-resident for nearly three decades but hasn’t relinquished his Indian citizenship; he even contested the general elections from Delhi.

Indian Education System : Let's shape it

Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that's no reason not to give it.                                                                                        By Agatha Christie   This is one of the things that I wanted to write from long back and per my opinion it should be matter of at most important for any educated person of India. Today in this article I would like  focus on reminding people about the importance of education and educational departments  no matter those are government related or privately held. Whatever we are to...
