Vital Skill - Communication

After so many days finally I am in the mood of writing an article, Lets talk something about the communication skill, as we all know It is very important for everyone of us to communicate, whether it is professional or personal communication we have to do it effectively otherwise we may fail in putting our point across and the entire discussion can turn into waste of valuable time. Many problems can be solved just by communicating efficiently and rightly. Do you think that good communication can really make some difference? I think so, on the other day I was reading an interesting article which has this amazing information inline
“Words are the most dangerous drugs used by mankind”
and I bet it is the most dangerous drug indeed. When you are leading people or you are in a position where drive any team it is your top most responsibility to make your communication really simple, clear and effective. Especially in case of written communication like email, business letter we need to be more careful because every person is different and they can derive any meaning out of it after reading the words written by you, sometime we need to be equally careful about the cultural differences when we are putting our points across and communicating with international clients and customers. Communication is not only about speaking well but also about body language, gestures. This is an interesting fact that 70% communication is through the gesture and only 30% is through words.

Now at this point I want to make it very clear that here we are not talking about the importance of English in communication, you can pick any lingo in general which is your favorite. Most of the time difficult situation can be solved only with the help of good communication and opposite is equally true, the results can turn to disaster if the communication is wrong, right from the office to home, family or any relationship dispute for that matter can be handled with effective communication. The most significant part that I noticed and observed about the time that we take to respond, when we talk to other person we never focus on what they are saying all the time we spend thinking what we should say next, this really creates problem because if you don’t have good idea about the content you may not be able to contribute effectively, response time is not the criteria to judge the quality of the response and therefore listen to the person who is speaking and take enough time before responding. Listening skill needs to be cultivated.
I am going to incorporate these things in my daily life and I will be posting new articles in every two day, this way I will feel motivated to improve my written English as well. If you feel that I have committed any grammatical mistake  and if you think that there are scope of improvements, please help me by pointing the mistakes. You can write in the comments section and i will take it positively. Thanks in advance for that help.

Mobile Message Organizer

Got a basic requirement that i think every mobile should have, all the mail clients have this facility and i dont see any big difficulties on this other than the storage problem which is not a problem at all as we got GB of spaces in our memory cards. Well i am talking about the organizing the messages in Inbox , categorization of messages. Suppose i want to store all the messages from one of my friend say A in a folder called Personal, my existing mobile device Nokai E71 doesn't have this feature inbuilt (Ofcourse if you want you can make a folder and move the messages manually but here i am talking about the idea of automating this procedure). Only thing we need to do is , we have to store the rules in separate location , rules will be defined by the user and then device will follow these rules. There are no or very less software available which satisfy this requirement for mobile device.this is so simple but basic requirement as per the end user. I am going to make this one ...

Interview : Shiv Khera

Winning as a way of life Shiv Khera, motivational expert, speaker, consultant and author of three best-selling books, does not necessarily speak about new things. His subject is human life – the individual vis-à-vis society, and how the two can win. But it is the use of the right word at the right time in the right context in simple, evocative terms that sets him apart. Rajeev Nair met him in Dubai Charged – that is one word to describe the infectious persona of Shiv Khera, the motivational expert, hot in demand in the US professional circles to turn around company fortunes and develop the man power base. The Indian has been a US-resident for nearly three decades but hasn’t relinquished his Indian citizenship; he even contested the general elections from Delhi.
